How to apply?

Step 1. Check whether you are qualified to any of the CHED Scholarship Programs (CSPs)

General Qualifications
     1. Filipino Citizen;
     2. 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Year Level;
     3. Combined annual gross income of parent/s, guardian which does not exceed Four Hundred
          Thousand Pesos (Php400,000.00), or in cases where the income exceeds Php400,000.00
          an applicant must present a written certification or medical findings of illness of a family
          member, or school certification of two or more dependents enrolled in college; and
     4. Must NOT be a recipient of any government scholarship and financial assistance (e.g. TES, TDP,
          DOST, CSP, BFAR, etc.);
     5. Aside from the requirements in 1, 2, and 3, those student applicants belonging to the
          underprivileged, orphans, Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), solo parents and senior citizens,
          and Indigenous Peoples (IPs), shall submit certifications and/or Identification Cards (IDs)
          issued by the appropriate offices or agencies.

Step 2. Check if your degree program is a CHED Priority Program

List of Priority Degree Programs:
     1. For 2nd Yr. Level student-applicants (ref: CMO 5, S. 2019)
     2. For 3rd Yr. and 4th Yr. Level student-applicants (ref: CMO 1, S. 2014)

Step 3. If you are qualified, accomplish the ONLINE CHED Scholarship Program Application Form

     a. Make sure your device (Mobile or PC Desktop) is connected to a printer
     b. General Weighted Average for the 1st and 2nd Semesters, AY 2019-2020
     c. Parents's Gross Annual Income
     d. School last attended
     e. Complete Middle Name
     f. Active Contact Number
     g. Active Facebook Account
     h. Active Email Address

Step 4. Print and sign your accomplished application form from your online application

Step 5. Scan the CERTIFIED TRUE COPIES of the following:

Documentary Requirements
     1. Printed accomplished Application Form
     2. Birth Certificate from PSA
     3. Certificate of grades in all courses in the following 2 semesters (1st Sem. AY 2019-2020; 2nd
          Sem. AY 2019-2020)
     4. Certificate of Registration for 1st Sem. AY 2020-2021
     5. Proof of income (any one of the following only):
          - Certificate of Indigence; or
          - Case Study from DSWD of Certificate of no income; or
          - Certificate of Tax Exemption (BIR); or
          - Latest Income Tax Return (ITR)
     6. Copy of the school ID
     7. Letter addressed to the CHEDRO VIII REGIONAL DIRECTOR signifying that you are not a recipient
          of any other government scholarship or financial assistance.

Step 6. Send your scanned required documents in PDF format to sas.chedro8@ched.gov.ph, cc: chedro8@ched.gov.ph on or before April 15, 2021. Please use the Subject Line: REPLACEMENT APP_FIRST NAME_MIDDLE NAME_LAST NAME

Note: The application for financial assistance is completed only after the documentary requirements validation by CHEDRO8. All applications will be subjected to the ranking process in accordance with CHED Guidelines.

The CHEDRO8 STUFAP Unit reserves the right to validate the veracity of all information provided in the Application Form as well as to ensure the completeness of all required documents. Scholarship applications with incomplete documents and false information will not be processed.
